#GivingTuesday
On Tuesday, November 28, 2017, we have twenty-four hours to turn an ordinaryTuesday into something extraordinary. We have been blessed by an anonymous donor who will give a $10,000 gift if we secure 100 Donors within 24 hours. Please help us secure this $10,000 gift to benefit our students.
We have many needs at WCA, but one in particular is the development plan for security enhancements at both Lower and Upper campuses. In light of recent world events, we must do everything in our power to safeguard our students.
Let us use this day, #Giving Tuesday, to turn our good intentions into actions. Please take this opportunity to give a donation to our 2017 Annual Fund, and help us protect our students.
*At this time, we have raised $167,275 with your help. We have 2 more weeks to go until our Annual Fund Campaign ends. Please prayerfully consider your gift to WCA as we strive to be better for our students. We have Pledge Cards available at both of our Lower and Upper Front Offices for your convenience, and you have until June 30, 2018to fulfill your pledge. Please help us reach our goal of $300,000.
If you have any questions, please contact Laura Richeson at 256-705-8214 or laura.richeson@wca-hsv.org.
Atlanta Bread's Community Art Wall
WCA's Art 2 and Art 3 students have their work on display at Atlanta Bread for an art competition. Join us this Thursday, 11-16, from 3 pm until 8 pm for the gallery opening at Atlanta Bread. Be sure to vote on who you think should win the art competition. A percentage of the food sales on Thursday will be donated back to the school. Atlanta Bread has expressed a special bond with Westminster due to the respectful students and friendly parents who have been patrons through the years. We hope to see you there!
*Voting will be available through the month of December. First place wins $500, Second place wins $250, and Third Place wins $150! Please vote!
