Principal's Message
Good afternoon Canby High School Students & Families,
This week students had finals as we finished up the 2nd trimester. It is hard to believe that we are 2/3 of the way through the school year. Next week brings new classes and a great opportunity for a fresh start for students. 3rd trimester class schedules are available in Student/Parentvue.
Last week we hosted a successful College and Career Night for Junior students and families. Our speech and debate team had three students compete at OSAA districts at McMinnville High School on Saturday, and all three qualified for state. Congrats to Leo Newell, Misha Milano, and Isaiah Dalrymple. Our Band earned first place at the Northwest Invitational Band Concert and qualified for the state tournament as well.
Dance team hosted a great Friends and Family Night and heads to state this Saturday. They perform at 6:06 and 8:06 pm. Best of luck to our Cougar Dancers!
There is no school tomorrow (Friday, 3/15) as teachers complete 2nd trimester grades. Grades should be available on Student/Parent vue by Tuesday, 3/19. Also, a reminder that we have one more week until Spring Break. There is no school next Friday, 3/22 and the week of March 25-29.
Have a Wonderful Week!
Best,
Cari Sloan
