5:30pm EST: Let’s Google! Using the Google for Education Suite to integrate meaningful feedback into learning experiences.
Moderator: Megan Palmer
The meaningful inclusion of peer review and instructor feedback is essential for student growth in any classroom; however, how often are students using the feedback they receive on both summative and formative assessments? This session will focus on the use of digital tools, in particular the Google for Education suite, to foster meaningful and productive feedback and facilitate conversations around student growth. Additional assessment tools such as Diigo and EdPuzzle will be explored as session participants consider the role of feedback in their own classrooms and the types of feedback that prove to be most effective for students.

9:00pm EST: Closing Keynote: Teaching, Learning, and Internet Health?
Moderator: Andrea Zellner
In this aspirationally participatory keynote, we'll unpack a bit of jargon and then think of practical classroom applications of Internet health principles like web literacy and digital inclusion. With concrete examples of ways to teach and learn with Internet health underfoot, we'll look up and out to the future and imagine some edtech possibilities we'd like to avoid, as well as others we like to embrace.
