What is the Respiratory system?
The Respiratory System is a group of organs that supply the body oxygen. The system consists of the nose, throat, voice box, windpipe, and lungs. As the nose and mouth take in the air, the mucous membranes warm and humidify the air.
The Process of Respiratory System
You take in Oxygen and then breathe out a gas waste called Co2. Even if what you were breathing in where to be polluted then you would later cough it out, or eaten by macrophages to make sure you always have safe air. If you were to stop breathing thay cells in your body would die.
Main Organs
Mouth
The mouth warms and humidifys the air you breathe in air and breathes out air.
Nose
This Also as the mouth takes in Oxygen and releases carbon dioxide.
Lungs
The lungs allow the air to be taken into the body and the carbon dioxide to be released.
