Governor Closes Schools Until May 15!
Learning This Week
If you have trouble accessing the technology sites, please reach out to your child's teacher, and they can help you or will connect you to someone who can. If you do not have technology access for your child, please let your child's teacher know, but don't worry! There are lots of things you can do to keep your child engaged in learning: use a recipe to make something (takes reading and math skills); take a walk and find items that start with certain letters: watch a movie and have your child summarize it after certain parts (to build those speaking and listening skills) put a puzzle together (spatial skills) and my old standby - READ!!
Most importantly, take care of yourselves, remember to distance - even though it's hard, and wash your hands often! We care about you!!
WE MISS YOU!
You are invited to a "Carpool Connection" on Friday morning (3/27). Wear your Camo and drive through our car line for a "Willow Wave" from our teachers! Our staff will be lined up (6 feet apart!) along our carpool loop and would LOVE to see you if you'd love to swing by school during the following times:
10-10:20 Track 1 10:20-10:40 Tracks 2 & 3 10:40-11 Track 4
To make this event as SAFE as possible:
* students can wave out car windows, but cannot get out of cars. The school building will be locked.
* no exchanges can made during this time (physical or material-food, cards, etc.)
* keep your vehicle moving.. no stopping to chat!
* Staff participation is staggered. Teachers will only be in the carpool during their track's assigned time (For example, if you are Track 1 and arrive at 10:45- only Track 4 teachers will be outside).
We hope to see you at the WILLOW on FRIDAY!!
How do I talk to my child about all this?
