Coliseum Health System Scholarship
The Volunteer Program at Coliseum Medical Centers and Coliseum Northside Hospital is offering $1000.00 scholarships to deserving graduating high school seniors or post-secondary students pursuing a career in healthcare.
Requirements:
1. Completed Volunteer Scolarship Application
2. Essay (500 words or less) explaining why you aspire to be the healthcare professional of your choice.
3. An official (current) high school or post-secondary transcript
4. TWO sealed letters of recommendation from people unrelated to the applicant
Application Deadline: March 15, 2019
Application packets are available in the Counselor’s Suite.
Instructional Resource....Let's Ditch Those Sub Plans and Create Student Plans
Leaving traditional plans for a substitute teacher can be a hassle.
- You have to leave something that students can do WITHOUT you.
- You have to get the instructions right.
- And you have to hope that the sub will deliver them correctly!
There has to be a better way, right?

Howard HS:
- Increase Advisory Board Participation by 50%.
- Increase CTSO active membership to 80% of total membership.
- Identify and run a DECA State Officer.
- Increase the EOPA Pass Rate to 85%.
- Increase the Pathway Completers retention rate for the Programming Pathway to 50%
- Increase WBL Enrollment to 34 different students who are either internships or co-ops.
- Incorporate the CTAE "What is Your Super Power?" theme into all CTAE initiative and events.
- Implement 1st Annual Mock Interview Fair for all 8th Graders.
- JLC will participate in Spring JLC Drill Meet.
- Implement both a Fall & Spring GeorgiaBEST Certification Process for one grade level
- Implement GeorgiaBEST Awards' Ceremony
