Cardinal Connect
Week of April 29 - May 3
Principal's Message
Dear Cardinals,
Happy Fifth Sunday of Easter Cardinals!
In today's Gospel reading we hear the powerful analogy of a vine and branches. Jesus reminds us that we need to stay connected to him. He makes us this powerful promise "ask for whatever you want in my name and it will be done for you" (John 15:7). The key to this promise, according to Jesus is this: "If you remain in me and my words remain in you". Jesus wants us to be as branches connected and supported by him, the vine. Through this close connection, our hearts become increasingly like Jesus' own heart. What we ask, what we desire, what we need becomes more in line with his will for our lives. The beautiful thing is that when this happens, we grow in amazing ways just like a healthy branch on a vine! Lord help us to grow in your image!
Jesus, remind us today that we need to stay connected to you at all times. Shape our hearts and minds to be like yours. Amen +
Easter Blessings,
Scott Walker
Principal

Donate to a grad in need of support!
Hey there Cardinal community,
Are you able to support the fees of one of our grad students? Times are difficult for some families and our fee-waiver program does not cover all incurred costs. If you are able to help a family in need - in any way, big or small, we have created a form in PowerSchool under fees and order forms entitled "Support a Grad Student". You are able to donate any amount you choose through the PowerSchool form. Donations over $25 will be issued a tax receipt. Thank you so much for your consideration!
