Attention 6th Grade Parents!
JRG Registration for Woodland Intermediate 6th Graders
Last week, students met with a counselor from JR Gerritts Middle School to discuss course selections for next year. Students received a paper course selection form upon which they should indicate their course choices. Parents or guardians are asked to review and sign off on these choices no later than March 8th, 2023. Students who have turned their course selection forms will complete course registration in their homerooms on March 11, 2024
Keep in mind that students with exceptional educational needs may have other support or enrichment classes that are not listed in the required courses. You will not select those classes yet. If needed, school staff will help you register for those classes at the appropriate time.
If you’d like more information about classes offered at JR Gerritts prior to the presentation on March 7th, please view the 7th Grade Course Booklet. If you have any questions ahead of time, please feel free to contact Rob DeLain, Principal of JR Gerritts at 920.788.7905 or rdelain@kimberly.k12.wi.us.

Woodland Intermediate Specials Newsletter
Check out the February Woodland Intermediate Specials Newsletter! It is a great source of information relating to all of our specials classes including Healthy Living, Band, Music, Art, 5th Grade Computer Applications, Phy. Ed. and 6th Grade World Studies. Please contact your child's teacher with any questions you might have.
School Climate Survey
Woodland Intermediate School students will be helping us assess our school’s environment by answering questions on our School Climate Survey. The survey will be taken during the months of November and March and is designed to learn more about student perceptions and experiences during this school year. Areas we look at include:
Bullying
How many students report that they have been bullied at school this year.
How students respond to the bullying.
How often students report bullying to an adult at school.
Whether or not bullying improves once it is reported to an adult at school.
School Connectedness
How many students have a trusted adult at school.
How satisfied students are with their friendships.
Whether or not students enjoy their school experience.
The data we collect will be used to ensure Woodland continues to be a safe learning environment for our students.
Please contact Tiffani Gelhar (School Counselor) at 730-0924 if you have any questions or concerns.
