NHS Student Services
June Newsletter
From the North High Student Services Department:
Graduation is upon us and the end of another school year is wrapping up! Congratulations to all the seniors in the class of 2022 who will be graduating this weekend - and to all the other students on another step completed in their journey towards their graduation in the future! If you are not a senior (or the parent of one), and if you have never seen the ceremony before, we urge you to swing by and see it for yourself. Graduation in Sheboygan is very special and something that is looked forward to annually - and really is a community event.
The counselors are helping to wrap things up for our seniors, will continue to assist those students who need summer school classes, and will be starting to work look over and fix any issues for next year's classes. Student's should have access to their schedules around the time school registration opens next August.
The counselors will be in periodically throughout some of June and then again periodically in August. Any schedule changes that would be requested by the students/parents can be done once schedules are available (beginning of August). Any schedule change "requests" must be made before school begins. North High School is expected to be at full capacity with students next year, so some schedule changes will be difficult given some of the class sizes.
We hope that you all have a great, relaxing and fun summer. We look forward to working with next year's students and families and hearing back from our graduates on how they are doing after high school.

IMPORTANT!!! Seniors Requesting Your Final Transcripts
Requesting your transcripts for colleges/universities:
College Bound Seniors - you will need to request your final transcripts to be sent to your college that you will be attending next fall. All final transcript requests should be made through Xello - unless the school you are attending was done through the Common Application. Counselors will be sending out transcripts for any Common Application schools on the student's behalf. For those who need to request through Xello, if you have any issues with requesting a transcript then please contact your counselor (we can help walk you through this process).
All requests made after May 1st will be considered as Final Transcript Requests - meaning that the request is for finalized transcripts to be sent after June 20th to the student's college/university they indicated in their request. If you need an initial transcript sent to a college/university/NCAA/NAIA - or for a scholarship application - you will need to see/contact Mrs Bitney in the Student Services Office.
