Holy Name Highlights
November 10, 2017
Note from the Principal's Desk
Friday Greetings!
Thank you again for entrusting us with your children! We are so very fortunate to get to play a role in their lives! We had another good week here as we work our way through the second quarter. It is hard to believe that next Friday will be midterms already! Be sure to be checking Jupiter regularly to see your child’s progress!
This weekend, we celebrate Veteran’s Day. We are so very thankful for the service and sacrifice of all veterans – especially those connected to our parish and school community! Thank your for your service!
As we look forward to next week, we are excited to welcome all our “Grand Adults” to be with us on Tuesday! The kid are always excited to be able to share their school with those special adults in their lives! We look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!
Have a restful weekend and we’ll see you on Monday!

Middle School Math Update
As many of you know, Mrs. Ratcliff is expecting her second child sometime in early December. In lieu of seeking an outside maternity leave substitute teacher, we are excited that Mrs. Buckel will be stepping in to teach the 6th and 7th grade math classes while Mrs. Ratcliff is on maternity leave. We will be covering any technology classes that Mrs. Buckel will have to miss with the staff that we currently have.
Also, Mr. Mitchell and his wife welcomed their first child this morning. During his time off over the next week, Mr. Kitchens will be teaching the 8th grade math classes.

The deadline for donations is Tuesday, November 21.

GRAND ADULT DAY- Arrival Info
We are so excited for our Grand Adults to arrive at 7:50 next Tuesday! In order to allow our Grand Adults plenty of room for parking in the lot, and to keep all children safe, we will have an altered arrival procedure for Tuesday, November 14. All families that typically drop off in the parking lot, will instead drop off in a single file line along 16th Avenue (just like we did during the Oktoberfest). Arrival in the alley will remain the same. We will have extra staff members available to help children get from their cars to the school building safely. Please be sure to let Grand Adults know they may park in the lot or along any of the side streets. We look forward to seeing everyone and sharing a special morning together.
News On Our Upcoming Playground!
