Afterschool Child Enrichment Program Information
According to the Ohio Revised Code: Starting April 7th, the ACE Ohio Grant amounts are increasing to $1,000 per student / per school year from the current $500.
The allowable family income levels will increase from 300% of the National Poverty Rate to 400% (e.g., a family of four making just under $120,000 will qualify).
The funds can be used for the following services:
• Before- or after-school educational programs
• Day camps/summer camps--including camps for academics, music, and arts (overnight camps excluded)
• Field trips to historical landmarks, museums, zoos, science centers, and theaters--including admission, exhibit, and program fees
• The purchase of curriculum and material for homeschool families
• Educational, learning, or study skills services
• Tuition for learning extension centers
• Art lessons including dance, music, visual arts and even martial arts
• Language classes
• Tutoring

FREE FOOD
Columbus Recreation and Parks Department offers Free Mobile Produce Markets throughout the year. The markets are staffed by volunteers who can assist with the produce so you can load it directly into your trunk or car.
Free Mobile Produce Markets take place at the following community centers beginning April 6 through December.
Distribution at all sites begins at 3 p.m. and runs while supplies last.

Community Clothing Outreach
Community Clothing Outreach (CCO) is dedicated to providing free clothing to anyone in need in an environment of Christ-centered love & grace. We offer men’s, women’s and children’s clothing; we provide connections to social services, etc.

About the Free Store
The United Methodist Free Store provides gently used clothing and household items to individuals and families in a hospitable atmosphere that affirms the self-worth of each individual. More than 50,000 families have become members of the Free Store since we opened our doors in January 1999.
The success of the Free Store is the result of individuals, local businesses and church congregations in the Central Ohio area. And of course our volunteers!

Donations for the Free Store
We accept donations of gently used clothing (infant-adult sizes) and household items (books, toys, dishes, linens, baby items, etc.).
For donations after hours, please use the blue donation bin behind the building. For health and safety considerations, please do not leave donations on the ground outside the bin.
Due to space limitations, we ask that you please call the Free Store to arrange donations of large furniture.
