Online Learning Expectations
In order to be marked "present" for class, students must have their camera on and be visible in the camera throughout the period. They must also participate in class through work submission, discussions, chats, etc. These expectations are required by the PA Department of Education and can be viewed HERE. Students who meet one but not both of these criteria will be marked absent by the teacher.
If you are experiencing temporary technical difficulties that prevent your child from logging in to their classes from home, please contact our attendance office and submit an excuse blank. If the technical difficulties are related to your child's Chromebook, please submit a HELP TICKET right away so that we can help resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
If your child is learning at home on a day that they are scheduled to attend in person, please contact our attendance office so that we know they are doing so with your permission.
The HOPE Program
If you are interested in viewing advisory activities, they are posted each Sunday for the upcoming week in your child's "Class of 2021/22/23/24" course in Schoology.

Keystone Exams
Literature Exam - Wednesday, May 19th
Algebra Exam - Wednesday, May 26th
Online Biology Exam - Wednesday, June 2nd
On these dates, only students who are taking a Keystone Exam and some students in specialized programs will attend school in person. Most students will participate in their classes remotely on these days.
Students scheduled to take a Keystone exam will receive detailed information about testing date/location/procedures/etc.
Questions about Keystone Exams can be directed to ehskeystones@eastpennsd.org or Mrs. Tabitha Rodriguez, School Assessment Coordinator, at trodriguez@eastpennsd.org or 610-965-1650.
Attendance Reminders
1 - If your child must stay home on one of their in-person days due to illness or quarantine, they can still participate remotely from home. We just ask that you contact our attendance office to notify us - your student's attendance for the day will be coded in PowerSchool as "OLX" and they will be counted as "present" for the day.
2 - If your child is absent from school (either remotely or in person), you can email a signed attendance blank to our attendance office at ehsattendance@eastpennsd.org.
