Congratulations Coon Rapids High School Boys Basketball!
As supporters of CR ONE, we congratulate our Coon Rapids High School Boys Basketball team and parent/coach Mike Ogorek on their appearance at the state basketball tournament this past week! The Cardinals last appearance at the state tournament was back in 1983. While they lost to the Minnetonka Skippers who went on to win the state tournament in class AAAA, we are proud of our student athletes and family members in their valiant effort to compete at this level again this year. CONGRATULATIONS!

Parents as Equal Partners...
We look forward to a great year ahead with even more opportunities to 'assist in discovery.' Whether it be in math, reading, science, writing, or character development, we know there are great things yet to be discovered in the talents of our students! We invite you to continue to partner with us on this journey of learning!
Opportunities to get involved:
- Volunteer: classroom projects, take-home projects, reading/math practice
- Watch DOGS/MOMS (Dads of Great Students/Moms of Magnificent Students)
- Join your child for lunch.
- Read with your child at home... even 10 minutes can make a difference.
- Play games with your children that use numbers/calculations or problem-solving.
- Encourage consistent attendance.
- Work with our school social workers if there are any barriers that we can help support.
