Enroll Me registration and fees due
A Note from the Principal
February 5 is quickly approaching, and we ask that K-8 families complete registration/ enrollment as soon as possible. If your family is not planning to return, please make the school office aware of your decision. It is imperative that we have enrollment numbers so that we can plan accordingly for staffing for next school year. As an extra bonus, any families who complete online registration and submit their fees by the end of the day on Monday, February 1 will be entered into a drawing for $100 in Schoolbelles gift certificates! Why not check it off you to-do list this weekend and get in on a chance to win. Thank you to the many families who have submitted their registrations already.
If you are interested in preschool for your child, PLEASE SUBMIT REGISTRATION TODAY. Space in certain classes is very limited, and we are pleased to announce that one class is already full. We want to make sure you do not get closed out of the class that you prefer. Remember, your registration is not considered complete until the registration fee is received. Tonight our Preschool Virtual Open House will be held, and we will open registration to outside families. We currently have 55+ families signed up to attend the event so we expect that some classes will be filled this evening.
Finally, Sunday kicks off Catholic Schools Week 2021. Join us for Mass on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. either in person or virtually. Don't forget to join in on our newest special event...Family Kahoot Knight on Sunday! Keep an eye out for information that will be sent out tomorrow. Prizes await our winners!
Peace and blessings,
Diane Raguz, Principal
Report Cards Available Online
Second quarter report cards have been published as of today. To avoid the exchange of more papers, there will be no report card envelopes sent home for you to sign. You have the ability to access grades and print a report card to keep for yourself. Directions for accessing report cards can be found below. Please note that there are two pages to the report cards. You don't want to miss the second page which includes teacher comments. We will send a hard copy of report cards at the end of the school year only.
You may access your child’s final grades for the quarter on Gradelink following these directions:
- Log into Gradelink.
- Click on the Grades tab on the left hand side.
- The option to download the report card will appear on the right side of the screen. You can then download it to view or print.
More Catholic Schools Week Information
We will be Celebrating our Nation during Catholic Schools Week on Thursday, February 4. One way we would like to do this is by honoring our active military members during morning prayer.
Please send us the names of friends or family members who are currently serving our country in the United States Armed Forces so that we can honor them. Our broadcast booth announcers will read these names during prayer, and we will also have them displayed on our green screen.
Names can be sent to Mrs. Klepcyk at sklepcyk@saintpaschal.com by Monday, February 1.
SAFETY ALERT: Drop-off and Pick-up Reminders
Morning Drop-off:
- Make sure your child is ready to leave your car before you stop. If you need to take some time with him or her, park in the parking lot and walk your child over to the school. No child is permitted to walk across the parking lot on his/her own.
- Please do not drive through the yellow or orange cones. They are set up for safety reasons and should not be ignored.
Students should exit on the passenger side of the car for safety reasons.
As you leave, please proceed to Blue Ribbon Way (exiting on Wilson Mills) only.
Buses have the right of way. Please allow them down the driveway before your car. Often bus drivers will allow cars to go first, but never count on it.
Preschool parents: Please do not begin to line up for drop off before 8:05 a.m. as our buses need room to pull up along the sidewalk and safely let our K-8 students off the bus. If you are early, remain in the parking lot until 8:05.
Afternoon Pick-up:
- Please do not proceed down Blue Ribbon way until the buses have pulled away. Do not attempt to pass the buses that are lined up or use the convent driveway to pass them.
- Students should not go to the parking lot unaccompanied by an adult. Parents should meet their students in the area enclosed by the parking cones.
- Please do not drive through the yellow or orange cones. They are set up for safety reasons and should not be ignored.

EnrollMe Q&A
Q: I don't believe I have a log in for Gradelink; how can I get one?
A: Email or call the school office and we will email it to you.
Q: Where can I find the "Re-enroll" tab?
A: Once you log into Gradelink, the "Re-enroll" tab appears along the left side. If it does not appear, be sure you are logged in under your parent account rather than the student account. Also, you must use a desktop or laptop device to complete the process; the mobile app will not allow re-enrollment.
Q: Once clicking on "Submit," are parents able to access the information to edit or to print documents?
A: If you believe you made an error, please email the school office and we will review the submitted information and make changes for you. Printing of documents is not an option for parents at this time.
Q: Is my child's (grades 1-8) enrollment complete once I click on "Submit?"
A: Enrollment is not considered complete until the $225 registration fee is received by the office.
Q: Is my kindergartener's enrollment complete once I click on "Submit?"
A: The enrollment process is complete once you submit the $225 registration fee; however, all incoming kindergarteners must go through kindergarten screening before final acceptance.
Q: Is my preschooler's enrollment complete once I click on "Submit?"
A: The application process is complete once you submit the registration fee for the particular program in which you are interested; however, your enrollment is not complete until you receive an official acceptance (a hard copy) from the school office.
Q: Can I send one registration check for my preschooler and my K-8 students?
A: Please send one check for all students in K-8, and a separate check for preschool. You may submit them in the same envelope, but put the student name/s on each check.
Q: What if I change my mind about my tuition payment plan after submitting my enrollment?
A: Please email the school office and we will make changes for you.
Q: I have a new student to enroll at SPB; how do I add them?
A: Existing families that have children already in the school can add other children not currently enrolled. Because they are enrolling a new student, they will need to create a temporary registration account for registering the new student as the information for the new student is not yet in Gradelink. This is the same process that prospective families go through when enrolling their children. Keep in mind that the login credentials used to log into their Parent Portal will not work here.
Parents will log-in to their Parent Portal using their Gradelink login username and password.
They will then click the Re-Enroll tab on the left sidebar.
They will click the Have a new student to enroll? link at the top right of the page.
They will then follow the steps outlined in Enrolling a New Student.

2nd & 3rd Grade Parents-We Need YOU!
We are asking that each family (mom, dad, grandma, etc.) choose at least two days to volunteer each time slot being 11:15 am-12:50 pm. There are many, many time slots open! We are so grateful for the help!
This is a great way for you to interact with your child and his/her classmates during the school day! Recess Volunteers should arrive to school at 11:10 and check in at the office. Duties will include supervising students at recess, escorting the students to and from the school doors. Volunteers will be with one school staff member each day to help direct.
Remember that after your two volunteer time slots, you are done for the year, as each month is assigned to a different grade.
COVID-19 Volunteer Protocol: all recess volunteers are required to wear a mask and complete the Visitor Self-Screening form when they arrive at school.
Thank you again for your time and service to the students and teachers of SPB! Simply click on the following links to sign up: Grade 3, Grade 2

A Message from our Parish Business Office
Dear Saint Paschal Parent Parishioners:
A friendly reminder! As a parishioner, when you signed your application and enrollment agreement earlier this year, you were offered a discounted rate of tuition for Saint Paschal Baylon Catholic School.
The parish counts on you to tithe in order for the parish to maintain our award-winning school. As you read in the bulletin, the parish supports the school in many ways, but especially financially. Our budget is based on each family’s status as having either the parishioner rate or the non-parishioner rate.
Instead of dropping an envelope in the basket each week, why not consider joining MyEoffering? It is a secure, web-based platform in which donors may privately and prayerfully make their weekly tithing donations. Prayerful consideration of giving to God first enables you to witness a powerful sense of stewardship. What a great way to donate and not have to worry about it each week. You can sign up by visiting www.church.saintpaschal.com and click on the myEoffering button.
