LS Library Newsletter December 2016
"I read, much of the night, and go south in the winter."
I Heard a Bird Sing
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December
A magical thing
And sweet to remember.
We are nearer to Spring
Than we were in September,
I heard a bird sing
In the dark of December.
Oliver Herford

a note from Mrs. knauer
I would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support for the 2016 Barnes and Noble Book Fair. Parents Association drives the Book Fair with volunteers giving hours of time to make the event such a success.
A second thank you for helping make the LEGO wall a reality. Thank you to the children who donated their "extra" LEGOs; to parents who came in with new LEGO tubs; to Mr. Patton who designed and built the walls; to Beth Otto who searched for the best deal for new LEGO sets...and then did the ordering; to the children who helped unpack the bins...the list could go on! It was quite the group effort.
