Bus Stop and Route Information
Accurate Bus Route Information will be available for Kindergarten through Grade 12 students when face-to-face instruction begins.
Your students' busing information is on the transportation department web page: www.bcsoh.org/transportation.
Please remember that the transportation department is extremely busy at the start of the school year. Therefore, if you submit an address change or childcare transportation request, please be aware that handling your request may take a couple of days.
My Stop App
The Brunswick City Schools Transportation Department uses the Versatrans My Stop APP to allow parents to see their child(ren) 's bus status in real time. You can install the app via Google Play or the Apple Store on your mobile device.
Parents can log in by clicking here using their primary phone number as the username and password. Parents who cannot log in using their phone number may call the Transportation Department for assistance at 330-273-0227.
Versatrans Login Instructions
If you have never logged into Versatrans, please use the student's primary phone number on Final Forms as the username and password. Once a parent/guardian has logged in, they may change their password. To change the password:
Click on the "OPTIONS" tab
Click on the "CHANGE USER PROFILE" tab
Complete the requested information and then click on the "UPDATE USER PROFILE" tab
After the initial login, parents/guardians click "STUDENT" and "VIEW MY STUDENTS."
Next, go to the tab on the top titled "Students" and then "View My Students" (students will show up). After the initial login, parents would click "Student" and "View My Students" when logging back in.
Car Rider Line
Parents dropping off or picking up their child should pull all the way up to the cone at the corner where the sidewalk ends. Students will not be dismissed to cars until all traffic has stopped. Please do not exit the car rider line once you have your child. The first car at the cone will be waved to exit and proceed to Berkshire Dr. by a staff member. This is important for student safety.
Students will be dismissed to cars in waves based on the order of the cars. Parents will receive a car rider tag with their child's name on it for our staff members to know which child gets in each car.
Food Services
Brunswick City Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Students are encouraged to have accounts set up for any breakfast/lunch purchases. For your convenience, deposits may be made by credit/debit card by setting up an account for your student on www.myschoolbucks.com. You may view your student's lunch account, and set up a lunch account balance reminder as well. Charging will not be permitted for breakfast. It is strongly recommended that parents/guardians make meal payments in advance. Personal checks and cash deposits are accepted daily.
Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced price meals. If you think your children qualify after reading the parent letter and guidelines found in the link below, please complete the application and return to your child's school. We cannot approve an application that is not complete, so be sure to fill out all required information. You may submit one Free and Reduced Price School Meals Application for all students in your household.
