Inspirational Quote
Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Final Day of School - 5/29
- The faculty has decided that they would prefer to have a FULL DAY of school on Thursday May 29th and then have final conferences from 3:00-7:00 PM. I have agreed to this change and therefore May 29th will be our Final Day of School.
Fish Fry Summary 2014
- This year our net profit was $13,421.73. Last year it was $13,875.26. This was a great accomplishment based on the fact that we had fish fry's at the beginning and at the end of Spring Break. In addition, there were some NCAA tournament games that I feel certain had an effect.
- I want to give special thanks to Jennifer Hardesty and Michelle Pence for chairing the fish fry's this year. They did a wonderful job! In addition I want to thank all those who volunteered their time in working and making the fish fry's as successful as they were.
- Each child who had a family member work on their assigned week and brought in a cake will receive a total of 4 dress down days (maximum number). The dress down days will be April 28-May 1. Please note we will be off from school on May 2nd for the Derby Holiday.
Again many thanks,
Kevin
Hancock & Van Treese to speak with students - 4/25
- The players will share several points with the students that reinforce the importance of work ethic, integrity, character, education, and teamwork.
- As time permits, the students will be given an opportunity to ask a few questions to the players.
- Every child and teacher will be given a free "School is Cool" poster that features the UL players.
- Each child and teacher is given the opportunity to purchase a poster and/or basketball. 3-4 days before the program, we ask that the school send home a flyer that tells about the program and allows the student to purchase a ball or poster. This is how the program is funded. There is no purchase required, but we have found that a lot of students and teachers are interested in getting an autographed basketball and/or poster from the players.
- I am very excited to announce that Luke Hancock and Steven Van Treese will be here on Friday April 25th to speak with students. The timing (1:45 PM) is not great but it was the best I could do. Please note that dismissal may lag behind somewhat because of those getting autographs, etc.
