FUNDING CYCLES AND HEARING DATES
WIllard Straight Hall Takeover Commemoration
The political climate of today requires that we reflect on the agents of change who paved the way. This upcoming week marks the 48th year since Black students occupied the Willard Straight Student Union. The 1969 action known as “the Takeover” led to numerous changes on campus including the development of the Africana Studies and Research Center and the restructuring of the Board of Trustees. Join us this Monday, April 17th for our annual commemoration of this crucial event. At 6PM, please meet on the lawn of the Wanawake Wa Wari House (208 Dearborn Pl) for an opening performance and historical march towards Willard Straight Hall (please wear black). Dinner begins at 7PM in the Memorial Room (of WSH) and includes remarks by professors and students as well as an original short play. This year’s theme is Imaginations: A Campus By Us, For Us.

The Big Red Shuttle
We are excited to present the Big Red Shuttle, Cornell's first free late-night transportation service for students who need a safe ride home.
Initially, the Big Red Shuttle provided students with rides during exam periods. However, the need for additional means of late-night transportation has become clear. Now, the Big Red Shuttle is no longer an academic-only resource, but one that provides timely and free transportation to Cornell students everywhere in need of a safe ride home.
Starting Friday, 10/14 , the Big Red Shuttle will run a 20-minute route every Friday and Saturday night from 12am-3am with a professional driver and two student aids trained by Cayuga's Watchers.
