Important Information
NEW ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:
This ENGAGEMENT/ATTENDANCE document was sent out last week. Please make sure you read it carefully, the new attendance requirement begins on Monday, April 27, 2020. There will be specific guidance about grading sent out later this week by district, then we will follow up from CMMS.
GRADE LEVEL SLIDES:
Thank you very much for your work on creating grade level slides and setting up consistent Zoom meetings/links! We will check in on how it's going from the various perspectives toward the end of this week, and will fine tune as needed.

WIFI HOTSPOTS:
Families will now have access to wifi using the access points at CMMS, and other various campuses. CLICK HERE for the map of wifi access points. Until further notice, families can drive up and use the wifi at CMMS in the parking lot and near the access point from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. They are still working on the logistics for extending the hours of the parking lot, I'll share that info ASAP.
STUDENT RECOGNITION:
The PBIS team has been meeting to develop ways to further recognize students, please enter names into the link below, and make sure to enter names into the Student of the Month form, all which are linked below.
SKYWARD GRADES:
This Friday, May 1, 2020 all grades need to be up to date, and there must be grades in your grade book. Please make sure that anything you put into the grade book is related to the essential standards you're working on, and make sure that the essential standards you're working on are very clear to your students and their families.
ENTERING THE BUILDING:
If you need to enter the building, please follow the same protocol of emailing me the exact time, duration and purpose. In addition, you will have to sign the sign in sheet that I (Brit) will put on a rolly desk at the main entrance. Please make sure you bring your own pen, and please be sure to sign out when you leave.

Ms. Jones will be helping us understand how our personal journeys - the good stuff and bad stuff, the success and the failure – are leading us in a direction. By unpacking our stories and facing them, Ms. Jones will challenge us to get a vision for our purpose and passion to help us plan for our future – this summer and beyond. There will be room for 1,000 participants shared between SMS and CMMS.

I just want to thank Mr. GILLINGHAM for caring about my kids and expecting the best out of them. I hear feedback from them about there class time and I like that he is not only educating them in science but also helping them to be better people. My son and daughter respect what he has to say to them. I think he has been a positive influence on my son . i just want to say thank you for treating kids individually seeing there strength and weaknesses and encouraging them where they need to grow.
