Coronavirus Info for 2021-22
COVID-19 Info for WTPS and BHMS
Recent Updates
Across the country and as we concentrate on South Jersey, we are seeing a rise in cases.
When you scroll down to the information, please take note of the weekly COVID-19 Activity Level Report for the week. That report comes out every Thursday and gives us a status of the following week. Also, please see Mr. Bollendorf's May 11, 2022 letter here: Superintendent's Letter. That letter indicates the rise in cases and how we are monitoring that. Please take necessary precautions as a family as the quarantine measures can still impact someone's ability to attend end of year events.
Please also note that Gloucester County is considered the Southwest Region. Currently we are in the Orange Status as a whole, but we have some indicators in the Red. Based on Mr. Bollendorf's letter from May 11, 2022, we will be monitoring recommendations from the DoH regarding end of year activities.
Previously, Mr. Bollendorf sent this letter to families regarding the Governor's assertion that masks will not be mandatory in schools beginning March 7. That indicated the Test to Stay program (free COVID19 PCR testing). Therefore, Mr. Bollendorf sent this letter out regarding the new Grapefruit "Test to Stay Program" This is an effort to provide accessible testing programs for students to remain in school if they had an exposure or close contact. We had this in place for the first week last week and we continue to work out the kinks. Please click the following document regarding the "Test to Stay Program": Grapefruit FAQs
We will still provide intermittent remote access should children need to quarantine.
Please continue to monitor the COVID-19 Weekly Activity Level Reports. This is one of the main data points NJDOH uses to advise schools.
