Girls on the Run Community Project
Hello students/adults this flier is about the Girls On The Run teams’ community project, and we chose to support kids in Kenya. Please donate these things:
Pencils
Hand sharpeners
Erasers
Pencil pouches
If you choose to donate please take your donations and put them in the box in the front office. Bring them on May 18th-31st. Also Mrs. Kretsch will be delivering the supplies by hand to the kids herself so please donate.

Big Hollow Recycles!
Big Hollow Primary and Elementary schools will be participating in the Crayola ColorCycle program!
Through this initiative, we can help the environment by collecting used Crayola markers for Crayola to repurpose.
I will have a collection box in the Art room that students can donate used markers (from school or home) from 5/21-5/30.
At the end of the year Crayola will have them picked up and we can all feel good for helping save the planet!
They also have some lessons and activities you can use to connect with ColorCycle. Some might be perfect for end of the year fillers. The link is below.

Some Friendly Reminders -
Drop off time for students at primary and elementary begins at 8:15 am. When using the drop off lane, please be sure that students exit the vehicle on the curb side. Parents may not exit the vehicle. Be sure students only exit when your car is parked between the two crosswalks. We can best ensure the safety of all students, parents, and staff when our drop off procedures are followed.
If you are picking up your child from school, you must notify the school office by 2:15 pm. You can call earlier in the day, or even, days ahead of time. It is also very helpful to send your child's teacher a note in the agenda or an email.
