- Literacy -
The Science Open Response grades will need to be submitted by Dec 9th.
Close Reading - Close Reading is an effective strategy that can be used across content areas. Please invite admin to observe when you are planning to utilize this strategy. All teachers should invite an administrator in once each semester for a Close Reading Observation.

Do you have a class that you would like to recognize the class as a whole? We have Pizza Ranch Coupons and Musketeer Hockey Tickets available. Please let April know if you want to use these for classroom recognition.

Chat & Chew
On Friday, Nov. 22nd, and Monday Nov. 25th, I will be hosting a Chat & Chew in the Records Room. On these days you can come during your plan period or break time and sit down with me to enjoy some good food and conversation. This is an open forum for all staff in a casual setting. If you choose to participate, then you will be given exchange time on Monday the 25th during PD. I look forward to our conversations!

Hallways, Hats, Hoodies and Blankets & Stuffed Animals Too
As the weather has turned colder. Please continue to address hats, blankets, and hoodies.
Hats & Hoodies: Students should not be wearing hats or hoods in the hallways or lunch room. Please help us address students by asking them to remove it. If the student refuses, please let an administrator know, and we will address it throughout the day.
Blankets & Stuffed Animals: For health and safety, students should not bring blankets or stuffed animals to school. If they have one with them, they should put it in their backpack or locker.
