Curriculum Matters
December 2, 2019 Edition #5
What are you thankful for?
Time is a precious resource! To help make the most of your collaboration time, Bridges provides Implementation Guides to support facilitation of team planning meetings. These can be found on the Bridges Site on the Implementation page under the Coaches tab. They can also be found on the Bridges Section of the SBRC OneNote under Curriculum Resources subpage for each grade level.
Digital Display Materials are a great resource that can help with prep time. One of our teachers who implemented last year had this to share “[a particular lesson] asks you to assemble a long strip of measurement tape. I went through the trouble to make it last year, and then realized it was on the Digital Display Materials. UGH!!” The Digital Display Materials can be found on the Bridges Educator’s Site on both the Home page as well as the Curriculum and Resource pages.
Reminder: Math Content Leaders have complied notes of ideas, tips, and suggestions as you plan upcoming Units and Month. These documents for Unit 3 and 4 as well as November and December Number Corner can be found on the Bridges Section of the SBRC OneNote under Looking Ahead subpage for each grade level.
Calm
This is an app AND a website. This is great for self-care while kids are out of the room or whole class calming. You can choose backgrounds, sounds, etc. Calm
