Collaborative Expertise Teams–CETeams™
This interactive and engaging institute will empower educators to effectively impact both student and adult learning through focused and disciplined collaboration.
Participants will develop a solid understanding of the CET™ 4-step process. These simple steps set the the focus for PLC meetings by supporting teacher teams in making quality inferences from assessment results to inform decisive and effective instructional adjustments.
Step 1: Chart / Examine Evidence
Step 2: Formulate Quality Inferences Into Student Learning
Step 3: Determine Actions & Strategies
Step 4: Establish Success Indicators
Time will be provided for participants to examine their current structures for collaboration and complete action planning for both short and long term success. Participants will walk away with defined actions for immediate implementation and supporting instruments for monitoring success and impact of collaborative efforts.
Dave Nagel, Facilitator
Dave has worked with and helped develop hundreds of collaborative teams across the country as well as in Canada and Bermuda. He leads and guides professional learning teams and communities with structures and protocols to ensure adult learning is consistently taking place.
His style and skill help participants wrestle with, learn, and apply critical concepts into their daily practice to best impact both student and adult learning. Dave has inspired teachers and leaders across the nation and in other counties to pursue higher levels of implementation with greater focus, rigor, and clarity.
