inputs and outputs
input
Any information or data that is sent to a computer for processing is considered input. Input or user input is most often sent to the computer using an input device such as a keyboard or mouse. The picture is an example of input being sent from the computer keyboard to the computer.
output
Any information that has been processed by and sent out from a computer or similar device is considered output. A simple example of output is anything you view on your computer monitor. The bottom half of the image shows data being sent from the computer to a printer. That data is then printed onto a piece of paper; both are forms of output.
Input
What is input?
An input is data that a computer receives. An output is data that a computer sends.Computers only work with digital information. Any input that a computer receives must be digitized.
Often data has to be converted back to an analogue format when it's output, for example the sound from a computer's speakers.
