NO SCHOOL
Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday:
We will complete a project measuring a doll, then use scale factor to draw the doll at real-life dimensions. This will be a group project and the first 80% grade of the 2nd quarter.
Friday:
Students will complete an interim assessment, which is essentially a "practice" state assessment.
These plans are subject to change.
World Geography with Mr. Akagi
Next week for World Geography, we will be wrapping up Unit 2 on the US and Canada. We will be examining Canadian culture and its differences from the US, seeing how industrialization changed the US and Canada, and how Americans and Canadians interact with our environment. We’ll be ready to go for the week after with Unit 3 on Latin America!
Language Arts with Ms. Griem
On Tuesday and Wednesday Language Arts will be taking the interim state test which is a practice test for the state tests that students will take in the spring. We will also be starting our Unit 2 for second quarter. The essential question for unit 2 is “What are the effects of irrational thinking”.
