Parents, We Need Your Help!
Care of District Devices
As we start the new year we need your assistance helping to maintain the condition of district issued laptop devices. Stickers on laptops and cases are not acceptable for students or staff. Our district technician is spending HOURS trying to remove these. (See picture) Teachers are giving students time in class this week to remove stickers. Those who don't finish will need you to help them over the weekend. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Student Badges
It is both a building and district expectation that all students wear their district issued ID badges when at school. The initial badges and lanyards are provided by the district and up to this point the school has paid for badge and or lanyard replacements. Unfortunately, this has become a costly endeavor. During the week of January 15th we will have free lanyards and badges for any student who needs them. After this we will be charging $1 for new badges and lanyards. (Students may also use their PBIS points to purchase a new lanyard and or badge for 50 points.) The purpose of the badges is one of security. Were there a true emergency a student might end up with a teacher who doesn't know them, thus the badge. Bus Badges require a cihp so the cost to replace them is $3. No PBIS points may be used for this badge. Thank you for supporting our safety efforts at Willbern.
Students also must have their backpack badges to ride the bus and go through the cafeteria line. The same rules apply for these badges and replacements.
We Value Your Feedback!
As we come to the end of the first semester we want to hear from you!!!! Please take a few moments to complete the following PBIS survey by clicking HERE. Your feedback will assist us as we continue to ensure all students and their families are aware of behavior expectations at school.

Title I is a federal program that provides funds to school districts and schools with high numbers of high percentages of children who are disadvantaged to support a variety of services. The overall purpose of Title I funding is to ensure that all children have a fair, equal and significant opportunity to obtain a high-quality education and reach, at a minimum, proficiency on challenging state academic achievement standards and assessments.
