Understanding Addiction
This video will help you understand addiction. Addiction is something that is out of our control. The teenage brain is particularly susceptible to addiction because it’s still developing. Teens not only become addicted much faster than adults, but drugs also alter the development of the brain, making addiction extremely difficult to overcome. 9 out of 10 teens who use drugs become life-long addicts.

The Promise is non-binding and serves as a post-secondary OPTION. ECHS students do not need to apply to Dallas College, but instead a partner university.
