Thursday, we will transition to learning about the many reforms that took place in America in the years leading up to the Civil War. Mr. Czikowsky: ELA week of 5/13/24
This week in ELA, we will begin our final unit for the year: Dystopian fiction. We will watch Wall-E as a class and discuss some major themes found in dystopian literature/movies. The students will then need to analyze the dystopian aspects found in Wall-E. Students will also continue to work in Lexia PowerUp, and I will be having 1 on 1 reading meetings with students during independent work.
