Oak Ridge Family Focus
November 5th Edition
Weekly Update
Parties & Festivities
Last week we held our Halloween parties and festivities. A BIG thank you to our PTA and all of our parent volunteers who came in to help. Our students had a great time dressing up in their costumes, walking in the parade, and participating in their classroom games and crafts. There were many smiles and laughs throughout the day, and it's all thanks to you!
Report Cards
Last Friday at 4pm, a message was sent to each parent email address explaining that report cards were now available online, along with instructions on how to find them. Please see our step-by-step guide to view the report cards online. Once you review the report card, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher(s) with any questions you may have or ways you can help your son or daughter at home. If you need any other assistance, please call the office at 708-598-5713. We're here to help!
Have a wonderful week,
Beth Reich, Principal
Kevin Buscemi, Assistant Principal

Hippotherapy for Students with Special Needs
"Hippotherapy is a mounted activity utilizing the unique movement patterns of the horse. It is implemented by a PT, OT, or Speech Therapist. The child is not learning riding skills, but is gaining improvements in muscle tone, strength, postural control, balance, and coordination from weight shifts and postural displacement created by the unique horse's gait."
