Write something that interests you or you enjoy. Include details like facts, statistics, examples, and your thoughts.
Organization
Your writing is effective and is clear all through your writing. (Beginning, middle, and end.) You always need a topic sentence.
Voice
The writing reveals the writers voice in a special way. The writing engages the reader to keep going.
Word Choice
The writing contains strong words using specific nouns and verbs. It uses exciting adjectives and adverbs.
Sentence Fluncey
The writing flows smoothly sentence to sentence. Sentences have a variety of lengths. Use simple compound and complex sentences. Also combine short choppy sentences.
Conventions
Writing is carefully edited to make sure it's easy to understand. The writing follows the rules for punctuation, grammar, and spelling.

The Writing Process
Brainstorming, prewriting, rough draft, revising, editing, and publishing, these are all part of the writing process.
Brainstorming
You have to think about you want to write about and it would help to jot some good ideas. When you figure out you are going write about then you start on prewriting!
Prewrite Time!
In your writing you always want to start with a T-table, a T table is a helpful tool for your prewriting.
Drafting!
Once you are done prewriting you make your rough draft. A rough draft is the draft you are going to edit and revise.
Evaluation
Write how many sentences are in the writing, good words, at least three transitions, and how many words are in your sentence. A transition is a word that makes the sentence sound and look better.
Editing
Fixing and changing bad things like repeated words, run on sentences, misspelled words, and things that doesn't make sense.

T-table, Core Four Topic Sentences (green), Transitions, Main Sentences (yellow), Details/tell me more (red), Conclusion Sentences (green).
Core Four Topic Sentences (green)
Simple statement, number statement, question, and situation stance.
Conclusion Sentences (green)
A conclusion sentence is a rephrased version of your topic sentence and you switch statements.
The Color Scheme (green, yellow, pink)
Green is for your topic sentence and conclusion sentence. Yellow is for your big ideas or your main ideas. Pink is for your tell me more or detail sentences.
