This workshop will explore the key components of academic language and its significance for adolescent literacy. Participants will learn about the critical role vocabulary in comprehension and identify effective strategies for teaching vocabulary.

Audience: Middle School and High School Teachers, Middle/Secondary Literacy Coaches, Curriculum Directors Limited to the first 35 registrants.

This workshop is free for all staff from NPESC's member districts. Cost for non-member districts is $25 per person
