Dolphin Blast
LCM Families,
As we head into our last academic week in March, we are filled with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for what lies ahead. It's been a month packed with achievements, growth, and memorable moments here at La Costa Meadows.
Our students have continued to demonstrate outstanding dedication to their academics whether it's mastering a new concept in math, writing captivating stories in language arts, or conducting fascinating experiments in science, their commitment to learning has been truly inspiring. We hope you enjoy Open House to see all the hard work that your child has on display.
I want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to you, as valued families, and for the ongoing support and partnership. Your involvement in your child's education is truly appreciated, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day.
Wishing you a wonderful end to March and a fantastic start to April!

Spring Break Traffic Safety
During spring break, you may notice more kids, teens and families walking and biking around Carlsbad. Here are some tips to help everyone stay safe on the road.
- Talk to your child about the rules of the road, including rules for pedestrians and bicyclists and Carlsbad-specific e-bike rules.
- Anyone under 18 is legally required to wear a helmet while riding a bike. Make sure your child's helmet fits properly.
- Eliminate distractions. Put your phone away when walking, driving or biking.
- When driving, slow down and allow extra time to get where you need to go.
- Before you head out, remember to review the City of Carlsbad's map of major city construction projects that could impact traffic along your route.
