The Internet Archive contains one of the biggest collections of books that are in the public domain. Before sending students to the Internet Archive to look for free books you should be aware that it does contain some works that you definitely wouldn't want elementary school students to read. Therefore, the best way for teachers to use the Internet Archive is to find what they want students to access then download it and place it into a Google Drive folder or OneNote folder for students to access without having to actually go to the Internet Archive. Watch this video to see how to download books from The Internet Archive.

SEL/Conscious Discipline/PBIS and other important info.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Week 23: Keeping this video up one more week!#1 The Conscious Discipline video found below focuses on the Power of Perception- check it out. It is longer than most of the videos that I have shared. Watch it up to about 18 min., then watch the latter part of the video after thinking about part 1.
I watch some of these videos, keeping in mind that we are always assuming the potential trauma that our students are experiencing and/or have experienced in the past.
Nurse's Corner of important information
Urgent:
It has come to my attention that many peanut/tree nut snacks are being sent into the classroom for snack. I have asked Dom to resend the NUT FREE CLASSROOM letter with a sample safe snack list out on the listserve. If students are being sent in with nut snacks please send them to me so I can reach out to a parent. Thank you
Thank you,
Gina D'Aguanno RN
and
Dom
SurveyWorks! information
*Our grades 3-5 student surveys will be completed over a 2 week period from March 18th through March 29th.*
Faculty and Staff surveys will be completed at either a Faculty Mtg. or Data Mtg. time in March.
I will share your survey access information next week.
Parents have been notified in our last 3 newsletters and through our Listserv. They will receive hard copies of the survey info. next week as well. I'll offer PTA mtg. time to complete surveys for parents again this year. Last year, we have 2 or 3 people complete surveys after the PTA in the library.
