- Acts like a depressant
- Also known as "whippets"
- Some art or office supplies, such as correction fluid, felt-tip marker fluid, and electronic contact cleaner
Narcotics
- Drugs which contain opium or opium substitutes.
- Legal narcotics are given by doctor to relieve severe pain.
- If you stop taking narcotics, your body goes through the effects of withdrawal.
- Narcotics are highly addictive because they change the chemistry of the brain: they decrease the perception of pain and alter the body’s reaction to pain.
Hallucinogens
