ADMINISTRATION UPDATE
Dear CCS Families,
As Mark Twain once said, “In the Spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside of 24 hours”-- this feels like an accurate description of our week.
It has been another busy week at CCS.
Monica Littlefield accompanied a group of 4th and 5th grade students to the choral music festival at Fair Haven Union High school. We have heard so many nice things from parents. The kids had a great time; they were engaged the entire day and positively represented the CCS choral program with a wonderful concert in the evening.
March 21st was World Down Syndrome Day, a day dedicated to celebrating the amazing individuals in our lives and throughout the world with Down syndrome. Students and staff at CCS wore fun mismatched or crazy socks to represent their support and celebration of WDSD. We took the time to reflect on the valuable contributions people with Down Syndrome make in our community and the positive impact these individuals have in each of our daily lives.
Thank you to Nihad Cekivoc, our K-2 PE teacher, for organizing our recent fundraiser for the Big Change Round-up. Our students collected $716.30 to be contributed to UVM’s Children Hospital.
A reminder to families with students in grades 5-8 that Trimester 2 closed last Friday. JumpRope Reports for Trimester 2 were emailed to families on Thursday, March 22. If you have questions about your student’s report, please reach out to their core teacher. If you are having difficulty accessing your student’s report, please email jroth@cvsdvt.org for assistance.
Warm Regards,
Stephanie, Jen and Cassandra

The district will reimburse you for child care costs if necessary. If you have questions, please send them to Jeanne Jensen at cvsdinformation@cvsdvt.org with the subject "After School Care" or call 385-1234
