WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Please talk with your student about keeping their lockers jammed to not lock properly. Keeping their belongings safe and secure is a priority. Intentionally jamming the locker damages the locking mechanism and if a repair or replacement is necessary you could be held responsible for the cost to replace it. Which can run $50-$75. We have been finding a number of lockers this way. Please be aware we will be assigning consequences if this behavior continues with the first offense being a verbal warning, second offense, a lunch detention, and third offense, an after school detention. If something comes up missing in your students locker and it has been jammed open, the school is not responsible for it.
We are also struggling with students wandering during class and arriving to class on time. Please help us reiterate the importance of attending classes in full and arriving on time."

March is Engagement
Student Engagement refers to the degree of attention, curiosity, interest, optimism, and passion that students show when they are learning or being taught, which extends to the level of motivation they have to learn and progress in their education. Courage encourages engagement. Courage helps students raise their hand, participate, try new things, and voice their opinions.
How else can students increase engagement? Through actions such as consistent attendance, completing assignments, coming to class prepared, and participating in class and in school activities.
