PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Dear Diegueño Families,
The course selection process for next year is underway for current 6th graders and 7th graders! Please note that the Intradistrict Transfer Window is now open and will close at 4:00 PM on Monday, February 26.
Next steps for selecting next year's courses:
Current 7th graders - Your student will learn all about selecting next year's courses during their math class on Wednesday, February 21. Be sure you ask them to see their Course Selection Contract when they come home on Wednesday. There are lots of resources you'll want to access on our course selection website, including a video that explains the elective choices and PE options. That's also where you'll find the application links for ASB/Leadership, Journalism, Band, and Advanced Art. The Course Selection Contracts are due to your student's math teacher by Wednesday, February 28.
Current 6th graders - Consult our course selection website for all the resources you need to complete and submit your student's Course Selection Contract. Please submit your student's contract to their current 6th grade teacher. Mark your calendar for our March 5th our New Families Information Night.
Kindly,
Celeste Barnette, Ed.D.

This assembly will address eBike types, eBike classes and differences, throttle usage, speed limits, infrastructure types, signs and signals, carrying gear and passengers, helmets, and more.
The SD County Bike Coalition’s mantra is: “We believe bicycling is a healthy, affordable, and environmentally friendly form of transportation and recreation that should be safe and attractive to everyone who wants to ride, wherever their destination and whatever their purpose. Bicycling is good for our communities and for the people who ride, and so we work to increase the number of people who ride bikes as a regular part of their lives.”
