CIS Update
Week of 1/9/17
Happy New Year!
I am continually energized when I hear our people talking about a book they want to order, an article they just read and want to share with me, or something exciting they found on Pinterest. I know educators aren't always treated like professionals, but you all truly are dedicated to your profession and exemplify what it means to be a life long learner. I am a firm believer that being a great educator is more of a journey than a destination and includes continual growth and your passion for this inspires me!
Hopefully you are coming into the New Year refreshed from a lovely two week vacation in which you did very little work (right?). As you approach new and exciting challenges in this semester I hope you'll scour Amazon for books to read, use Google to find research articles, utilize Twitter to discover experts, and any other means you have at your disposal to grow yourself in your own areas of need (I have many).
