Prevent Riding the Summer Slide
Keep Kids Learning!
This term refers to the idea of haw children typically fall behind in their academics during the summer months. Don't let this happen!! It's not a fun ride.
There are many ways to keep your kids learning over the summer to prevent that "Summer Slide." There are some ideas below, but I want to personally challenge you all to set aside 10-20 minutes each day to sit and read WITH your child. Below you can find some suggested titles from Scholastic.
