News & Notes from Ms. Kapuchuck!
This Tuesday, MVES welcomes all former Eagles who are graduating from TA this year! These students will be able to take a trip down memory lane as they come from TA to walk through our hallways in their caps and gowns. We are so proud of these students and wish them the best!
As we wrap up this last week of school, I can't help but reflect on how resilient our children, teachers, staff, and families have been throughout this year. Our children have handled masks, online learning, in-person learning, two days of school that turned to four days of school (grades 3-5), not having a playground for most of the year, staying socially distant from their friends and teachers, quarantines, and so much more. Our teachers and staff have been right there with them to guide them through, always with the most flexible attitudes, huge hearts and smiles because at MVES there is nothing we won't do for a child. Our families have somehow made online learning and hybrid schedules work and as a parent, I know this hasn't been easy. Our families have been so supportive, empathetic, and our biggest cheerleaders!! I just want to say THANK YOU to all of you for working with us to make this year a success.
This will be my last MVES newsletter, but please know that your children have touched my heart forever and I cannot wait to see all of the amazing things they do throughout the years!! I have been the absolute luckiest principal in the world to work with your children at MVES. Thank you so much for trusting me with them each day and for supporting our school! I hope all of you have a fun-filled, relaxing summer!

Garden Help
Hello MVES Families,
This year our small garden is filled with perennials, herbs, and a few gourds. We have even noticed some volunteer sunflowers popping up as well as zucchini. This summer I am seeking help caring for the garden. There are 8 individual beds, I am seeking 8 families to volunteer to care for one bed. Your family would be willing to stop in once or twice a week to weed the bed and possibly water if dry.
Please reach out to the following email if you have interest or questions.
Thanks
Lisa Roeschley
