From the desk of Dr. Cormier........
My how time is flying as we have completed the first quarter of the school year. We had a successful 1st 9weeks of school and will continue to meet all challenges to ensure our students remain the number one focus.
Recently, GreatSchools.org announced the winners of their fourth-annual College Success Award, which recognizes and celebrates public high schools that excel at preparing students to enroll and succeed in college.
In addition to winning this year's annual Award, VICTORY EARLY COLLEGE H School was also selected as one of only 1,770 schools across the nation to win the inaugural College Success Award - Gold — an additional, elevated level of distinction to recognize schools that have a multiyear track record of college success. Awardees were selected based on available college preparation and postsecondary data provided by the state.
Each day I am thankful for the support you give to our school and your student as they progress in being an early college student and move towards attaining their Associates degree. Our theme this school year is “Learn, Laugh and Lead.” Every child, every day is finding a way to feel connected, every child, every day is being challenged by new learnings and experiences, and every child, every day knows they have a champion they can turn to.
As parents, I personally invite you to become involved with our school by volunteering, visiting and speaking with your child about school. Victory is doing great things and as a team of parents, teachers and students, we will continue to excel.
Students first,
Phyllis Cormier

Victory Students Earn College Board Recognition!
Congratulations to Victory students: Laila Adams, Mayowa Ogunbowale, Yoselyn Owolabi for being selected for National African American Recognition and Andrea Cruz, Graciela De La Cuesta, Jonathan Ortega, Keilly Irlas, and Nashaly Diaz for National Hispanic Recognition. These National Recognition Programs grant underrepresented students with academic honors that can be included on college and scholarship applications and connect students with universities across the country, helping them stand out during the admissions process. Colleges and scholarship programs use these honors to identify students from underrepresented groups through College Board’s Student Search Service. These scholars earned this recognition by excelling on their PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10, or AP Exams and in their classrooms.
Hispanic Heritage Celebration A Complete Success!

Homecoming 2021 Update!
The Yearbook Club and many student volunteers have been hard at work creating an Enchanted Forest for the Homecoming Dance on Saturday, October 23. Students have been planning, cutting, painting, glittering and gluing, in addition to raising money through candy sales. Yearbook advisor Ms. Phillips said, "I am so proud of our students for creating a positive atmosphere for the dance this year. Many students have been willing to help and volunteer their time. " Victory has not had a dance since 2018.
Although Victory doesn't have traditional sports teams, it is still important to celebrate in our unique way and provide the students with social opportunities. The Carver High School cafeteria will be transformed with twinkling lights, trees and a magical book backdrop while students enjoy dancing, food and fun.
Please consider donating a pack of sodas or a dessert item for all students to enjoy at the dance. Items can be brought to the front desk located on the second floor in the cafeteria. Thank you in advance for your support!
