Meadowbrook Buzz with Mr. Bell
We have an exciting month planned with the Week of Respect kickstarting October, School Violence Awareness Week (10/17-10/21), Red Ribbon Week (10/24-10/28), and of course, Halloween. Each week will have a different set of themes for students to participate in.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Back To School Night Event and MFFA Meeting. Please look out for our first scheduled "2nd Cup of Coffee with the Principal" announcement, which will be taking place in early November. Parents will be encouraged to complete a google form to save a spot for our conversation to better meet the needs of our school.
Please know that if you have an academic concern or question, please reach out to your child's teacher, and if you have any social or emotional concerns, please reach out to me or Mrs. DeFalco.

All students and staff should get as PINK as possible. For example, wear a pink shirt, hat, socks, “Hillsdale Brave,” etc. Be creative and have fun with your PINK!

Halloween Parade
Monday, October 31, 2022
- Students will be permitted to wear costumes to school on Monday, October 31st.
- A school parade will take place starting at 1:45 pm.
- Class parents will be permitted into our classrooms or school building to aid in Halloween attire; however, all guests are invited to watch from the blacktop or parking lot as the students walk around the school two times.
- We will march in line, exiting through the Kindergarten wing doors. We will complete two laps around the school and re-enter the building through the main entrance. Once back in the building, students will return to their classrooms for class parties.
- The class “party” will take place after the parade, and an extra snack should be packed from home in lunch/snack bags. The parties should end at 3:00 pm when students should prepare for dismissal.
- Costumes should not have weapons attached or recreate dangerous blood-themed characters. Also, any inflated costumes cannot occur until the parade begins.
- Any goodie bags created at home to be passed out to classes should be candy/food free.
