Breakfast option will be cereal, fruit, and milk for a price of $2.00
Lunch option will be sandwich, vegetable, and milk for a price of $2.50
The regular breakfast and hot lunch will continue to be available as usual.
Parents will be responsible for paying meal account balances accrued by their child. Meal account balances may be viewed in School Café. If you do not want your child purchasing the a la carte meal, you may log in to your School Café account and block a la carte purchases. To do so, click on the link to the left for “Purchase Restrictions.” Indicate which days a la carte purchases are allowed and the spending limit. Note that cash payments are not accepted in the serving line. All payments must be either made online through School Café or in the school office.

Set a routine
Setting routines for mornings and evenings including nutritious meals and an early bedtime helps children cope with stresses that may arise from starting a new school year. Routines have many benefits, namely, children feel comfortable and stable in their environment, resulting in more cooperative behavior inside and outside of school.
Encourage Good Homework and Habits
As your child enters a new school year the nature of their homework will no doubt change. It’s a good idea to try and gain an understanding of what they have been studying in the classroom and where homework fits in. You and your child should agree upon a regular schedule for when homework will be done, and for how long.
Make Early Morning Routine
Trying to get out the door on time when a school bell or a work commitment begins makes for a stressful time before 9am. Clever parents know that a morning routine that works is the key to starting the day happy, prepared and ready to leave the house with a smile.
Help Them To Be Positive
Learning always starts at home and your child’s mood affects how well he learns. A positive outlook is the best thing you can inspire in your children to keep them performing well at school and willing to tackle their homework.
Set Their Mind Free
Make sure your kids understand the right way to treat their peers, and when to speak up if they see someone else being bullied. Also make sure they know when to come to you if they feel they are being bullied.
Be Friendly
Take a few minutes to ask your kids what they are most looking forward to during the school year, and what things may be worrying them. By giving them a forum to express their concerns, you can help them work through any worries in advance of school starting and clear up any issues that could lead to a bumpy start to the year.
Teach Them Rules and Behavior Of School
Make sure you can teach your kids rules and behavior at home! For students in the early years the focus will be on learning to work cooperatively with others and to follow instructions from the teacher. It’s a mother’s job to remind and reinforce the school rules at home so kids understand why certain actions are unacceptable
