Weekly Devotion
“For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.” Psalm 91:11-12
I was counting diaper donations at church the other day. As I was counting and stacking diaper boxes, I noticed that I had a bead of blood running down my hand. Yes, I was hurt, and I was bleeding quite a lot. I never felt any pain, and I didn’t even realize I was hurt until I saw the blood. I quickly stopped what I was doing and sought out a Band-Aid while wondering what I had done to hurt myself.
Sometimes we don’t know something until we see it. If I wasn’t paying attention, I could have easily kept working not knowing that I was bleeding. But since I saw the blood, I knew something was wrong. What else do you have to see in order to believe and understand?
It’s easy to believe in God when we see Him in action. If we don’t see Him in action, we may start to doubt if God is even there, or if He cares. What about God’s angels? We may doubt their level of protection over us if we don’t see them.
But we believe in things we don’t see all the time. None of us can see a virus with our eyes, yet we can see a virus’s effect on us when we are sick. It is the same with God. Even though we do not see God or His angels face to face, we often see His work. Our protection may be invisible, but that does not make it less real.
God loves you dearly! He watches over you and sends His angels to look after you as well. Know that God does not delight in evil and will therefore curb any evil from prevailing over you. God issues His protection over you in many ways, some of which we might not even consider, such as Jesus upon the cross. That’s right, Jesus on the Cross is the greatest protection we need from sin, death, and the power of the devil! See what God has done for you!

School Handbook Updates
Dear Lutheran Central Parents,
On February 20th the LEA school board met and approved some updates to our school dismissal procedures. As always we want to ensure the safety of all of our students at Lutheran Central
The following section has been added to the School Handbook:
Walking
Students in grades PK-4th grade will need to be picked up or ride a bus after school. Parents who wish to have their students in 5th-8th grade walk to a sports practice or designated location after school will need to complete a waiver form. The waiver form will need to be completed once each school year.
I have attached a copy of the waiver form to this email and the waiver will also be available on www.lcsaints.net under Forms. Thank you for your cooperation.
In Christ,
Jami Stuckwisch
