PLEASE READ THIS GREAT Q & A FOR 1ST WEEK DISTANCE LEARNING!
Student's Working Ahead in your Courses - Please Read!
Here is some great wording, courtesy of Ms. Witman, that you can post as an announcement on your Canvas page:
Please know that if you choose to work ahead in the course (beyond the assigned work for that current week), your work may not be graded within the 48 hours time frame. We will be grading the current week's assignments first and then moving onto the advance submissions if time permits.
Please know that discussion questions will only be answered for the current week's assignment. So if you have questions about an assignment in Week 2, but we are only in Week 1, it will not be addressed until Week 2.
Also, please remember to check your work and submit all work before moving onto the next assignment. If an assignment is skipped and you do not complete it, it will be entered as a zero if you move forward and submit other assignments.
Carin's Corner & Tim's Take
Remote Coverage - means that is the administrator that will be available via their Google Phone number or email for any emergencies that come up for staff. Just as an FYI, all admin will be working every day, virtually.
Physical Coverage - Means that is the administrator that will be available physically on our campus via Google Phone number or email for any emergencies that come up for staff.
Please note that we are not permitted to allow anyone on our campus. If there is some reason you feel you need to access our campus, you must reach out to Tim Light (if you are a MS employee), or Carin Hetzler-Nettles (if you are a HS employee). On a lighter note, Tim & I wanted to share the funny meme below about Zoom calls.
Lastly - we are all still working and still have the same responsibilities that we have had throughout this year, so please reference the 19-20 Admin responsibilities sheet below and direct questions to the supervising administrator whenever possible.
