November Newsletter
Message from the Principal
Happy November. I hope all of you are healthy and well. Our students have done a fantastic job of wearing their masks daily, washing and/or sanitizing their hands, and watching their distance from others. I continue to be impressed by all of their efforts. Thank you for communicating with your child(ren) about the importance of these health and safety measures.
We are excited to welcome students back tomorrow for Quarter 2. I cannot believe how quickly time has passed. As we begin Quarter 2, we will continue to stress the importance of our 4 Be's: Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible, and Be Engaged. At KMMS, it is important that our students understand the expectations inside and outside of our communities. Our students do a phenomenal job of demonstrating their KoMet Pride appropriately and I want to take a moment to commend them for their efforts.
Our staff is deeply committed to ensuring the best education possible during these trying times. I have been very impressed by our staff's commitment to providing high-quality instruction as well as their ability to continue to foster the student-teacher relationships that KMMS has been built upon. The best part of my day is walking around and talking to students during their lunch hour. To see the excitement on their faces and the joy they bring each and every day is priceless.
Thank you all for a wonderful start to the school year. I am eager to begin Quarter 2 tomorrow. Please know that tomorrow is a Late Start. I have linked the schedule here.
Together in KoMet Pride,
Josh Larsen
Principal
