A Message from Dr. Hall
Keep putting print in front of your child until you find something he likes. His future may depend on your willingness to find something that works.
My Message:
I had an opportunity to attend a Reading Conference last week, one of the most impactful statistic I saw was this one! I reflected on my own experience as a mother of three children who I fought to read at night. Some may laugh and say, "my child won’t put a book down"; you are the lucky ones, I however struggled. If I had this knowledge, I would have made nightly reading a priority! We work hard during the day at CFK to have students engaged in stamina, but that isn’t enough. What they do when they leave us can make a huge difference in academic success. If your child struggles, make this your priority!
THANK YOU
