Jump Rope for Heart
Big Hollow Physical Education’s Jump Rope for Heart event has ended, and we could not have been happier with the result. We set out to restart a tradition that ended nearly 10 years ago with a goal of raising $10,000 for the American Heart Association, and our students and their families blew us away!
In just 2 weeks, we raised a total of $21,139.84 !!!
Thank you for your help and support! Thank you to everyone who came out to Family Jump Night and promoted heart healthy living. We are confident that our students have come out of this experience with a stronger understanding of charity, citizenship and community, as well as a new respect for their own heart health.
Our school will be receiving over $1,000 in new Physical Education equipment that your students will get to use in their classes.
We look forward to next year when we continue our new tradition of heart health with Jump Rope for Heart and the American Heart Association!!!
***SPECIAL NOTE REGARDING THANK YOU GIFTS:
If your child raised over $15 they were eligible to receive additional thank you gifts. These thank you gifts have been ordered and will be handed out to students as soon as they arrive. The American Heart Association has given a time table of less than 4 weeks after our event ends. Please use the link below or contact your child’s PE teacher with additional questions regarding Jump Rope for Heart.
