STEM+ Project
STEM+ Quarter Projects
Did you know that at Mansfeld students complete a STEM+ unit project for every class! They do some incredible and hands on things. For example in quarter 2 students did many projects:
water color ratios, inequality amusement park, M&M conversions, PH measurements, Maps, Snowflakes, Cartography, Riff recordings in music, paper roller coasters, robotics, and MORE! Can't wait to see what students produce for third quarter!
Travel
Did you know that students travel from all across Tucson to come to Mansfeld! That is one of the amazing benefits we have of being a STEM+ Magnet School! Take a look at this map that shows how students travel from all over to be here!

Attendance
Attendance at school is vital. If for unforeseen circumstances your child is unable to attend, please ensure that you report and excuse these absences. There is a new feature this year in the ParentVue App to report absences. Under "Student List", you'll see a blue "Report Absence" button next to your child's name. If for any reason you need assistance with this, or need to report the absence over the phone, please call the office at (520) 225-1802.
Uniforms
Please ensure that your child comes to school in the correct uniform. This includes a hoodie that is navy or white during colder weather, and closed toed shoes, not crocks, slides or slippers. Thank you for your support.
IReady
If you’re looking for ways to support your child’s academic progress at home, we encourage you to have your child complete 90 minutes in iReady per week. iReady is an online learning platform that is tailored to each student’s individual needs in math and reading. Your child can access iReady at any time on their iPad and work on the specific math and reading skills they need to progress. Using iReady is an easy and convenient way to support your child’s learning at home!
